gemhak asked: I have a 3 year old car which has a typical modern paintwork finish.
Unlike my previous (older) cars that I could simply remove superficial scratches and blemishes using cutting compound or even just polish, this does not work now.
As I understand it, most modern paintwork has multiple layers of a clear’varnish’ product.
Any suggestions of what I can do short of taking my car to a professional auto paint shop?

lankhai2006 asked: Should I buy a car which is categorized as a finance repossession?
I checked this preowned car, and AA said there is an existing finance agreement against the car, which is a hire purchase.
I told the dealer, and he said this is a finance repossession. He said the finance company has cleared the car.
Obviously I will speak directly to the finance company. But do you think it is advisable to buy this type of car? It is a Nissan Almera, so quality-speaking, it should be good.

I heard it’s good to have a car from a good car company that after time will still have parts for your old car. Does anyone know which car company is the best in this standard? I think local mechanics would know best. I plan on getting a car and stick with it for a long time.
Thank you in advance for your help

The synergy and result of both these vehicles invoved in chase is that they are both potentially lethal not only to the public but themselves.

curioso asked: I have a 1993 Nissan NX which was in a decent condition and never gave me any problems. Recently it got rear-ended. The other party’s insurance took the responsibility and asked me to get an estimate. The estimate says the repair costs are about $5000 and the mechanic thinks the insurance company will buy the car from me. What price would they pay me for the car?
I am a student and wasn’t planning on buying a new car. What price should I be happy with. I paid about $2800 8 months ago for the car. Would they be willing to negotiate. If yes, how do I negotiate?

ron j asked: lets say a car is traveling from New Youk to Los Angeles.
YOu are assigned to design this car so that it makes it to Los Angeles. YOu are only allowed 10 gallon tank of gas to start and thats the only gas you are allowed to have for the entire trip.
Your car design must be for an electric car that will therefore be able to generate power while it travels from solar energy, using the wind, plus any other innovative ideas you can come up with.
Could this car be designed. HOw many different power sources can you imagine creating as the car travels?

In the market for a new car, wondering your opinions of the most comfortable cars in terms of size but also comfort. I always liked my grandparents cars, always owned buicks, lincolns, caddies, etc with the couch like seats. What is a late model car that most closely resembles that? Also, do they still make bench seats in cars? I think inmpala did up until a year or two ago but any others?
